Heatwave Alert Issued for Low-Lying Areas of Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, June 8: The Meteorological Center in Shimla has issued a heatwave alert for the low-lying and plain regions of Himachal Pradesh for the next three days. Additionally, a thunderstorm alert has been issued for some areas today and tomorrow. A yellow alert for light rain accompanied by thunderstorms has been issued for Saturday and Sunday at some places in the state. From June 10 to June 12, a yellow alert for heatwave conditions is in effect for the low-lying regions.

On Saturday, Shimla experienced a mix of sunshine and light cloud cover during the day. The weather forecast predicts clear skies across all parts of the state from June 10 to June 14. Pre-monsoon rains are expected to commence after June 15.
