Hearing Aids Distributed to the Needy by Shimla DC
1 min readShimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, who also serves as the President of the District Red Cross Society, distributed hearing aids to those in need today. Highlighting the Red Cross Society’s significant role in humanitarian service, Kashyap noted that these hearing aids were provided to hearing-impaired individuals through the society’s efforts.
During the event, four hearing aids were distributed to the following individuals:
1. Nikhil from Jhatatan village and post office, Jubbal Tehsil
2. Gautam from Lower Bazar, Shimla
3. Deep Ram from Dargoth village, post office Bagri, Theog Tehsil
4. Ramsaran Sharma from Chabrdani village, post office Dharech, Theog Tehsil
The hearing aids were manufactured by the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) in Mohali. Kashyap advised all beneficiaries to report any issues with the devices to ensure timely repairs. Additional District Magistrate (Law & Order) Ajit Bhardwaj and Siddharth from the District Red Cross Society, along with other officials, were also present at the event.
