Hamirpur-Taropka main road will remain closed for one year

Hamirpur, November 6. Traffic has been diverted till October 30 next year due to the construction work of a bridge near Baroha on the Hamirpur-Bhoranj-Jahu road, which is being upgraded under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana.
Issuing orders in this regard, District Magistrate Amarjeet Singh stated that traffic has been diverted between Baru and Baroha due to bridge construction on the main road. He added that a temporary road has been specially constructed from Baru Chowk to the Suraj Sweets building in Baroha for small vehicles traveling from Hamirpur to Bhoranj. Larger vehicles can access Taropka via Kakariyar from Baru Chowk.
Vehicles coming from Bhoranj can reach Hamirpur by diverting from Taropka Chowk to Mattansiddh Chowk. The District Magistrate has appealed to all drivers for cooperation.
