H.P. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar felicitated NCC cadets

Shimla, May 27 – H.P. governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar felicitated NCC cadets of different NCC units of NCC Group Headquarter Shimla here on Friday at Raj Bhavan Shimla. During this felicitation ceremony, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar felicitated Under Officer Harsh from 1 H.P. Battalion NCC Solan; Senior Under Officer Rahul Thakur, cadet Priyanka, cadet Pankaj Thakur, Senior Under Officer Monika from 2 H.P. Battalion NCC Mandi;  CPL Tanuj from 8 H.P. Battalion NCC Rampur; Under Officer Anjali Gond from 6 H.P. (I) Company NCC Una; CQM Asish, Under Officer Rutuja Kulkarni from 7 H.P. (I) Company NCC Shimla; Sarjeant Ajay Kumar, LFC Pankaj Kumar from 1 H.P. Air Sqn. NCC Kullu for their excellent achievements and better activities in Republic Day Parade at Rajpath Delhi on Republic Day this year. Governor Arlekar praised these cadets for their commendable efforts and achievements in NCC pursuits. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar wished for NCC cadets’ bright future in defence and social services in very near future. Governor also praised NCC officials, NCC Headquarter Shimla and all NCC units in different schools, colleges and varsities of H.P. for training cadets in all aspects of defensive to gear up career in defence services.  Governor Arlekar exhorted cadets to serve the nation through their excellent contribution in different activities of NCC. Governor said that NCC cadets play a greater role during natural calamities and help masses, which is praise worthy task. Group Deputy Commander of NCC Group Headquarter Shimla, Col. Suresh Bhaik threw light on the present NCC activities being done in Himachal Pradesh in different NCC units. He also told the Governor about the achievements of NCC cadets in different areas for the service of the nation through NCC pursuits. The Governor Arlekar felicitated these cadets with felicitation certificates
