Guiding youth is responsibility of all – Sanjay Awasthi

Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that youth power is the nation’s invaluable asset, and providing proper guidance to young people is our responsibility. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing sports competitions organized by the Shiva Club Dhundhan in the Gram Panchayat Dhundhan of the Arki Assembly constituency today.
Volleyball and Kabaddi competitions were organised in this sports competition.
Sanjay Awasthi said that the overall development of youth depends on the coordination of education, sports, and other activities. While teachers and parents are important in this direction, peers and society also play a vital role. Various sports activities play a catalytic role in the overall development of youth.
He stated that sports play a vital role in strengthening youth physically and fostering mental focus. He added that such sports activities are essential to providing a platform for rural youth. This not only helps them hone their sporting skills but also encourages them to progress. He urged youth to participate regularly in sports activities.
The MLA stated that drug addiction has emerged as a challenge to social development these days. He added that sports competitions are essential to keep youth away from addiction and to positively utilize their boundless energy. He urged young people to stay away from addiction and increase their interest in sports to achieve success and physical strength in life.
The MLA said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, various schemes have been launched to further engage the state’s youth in sports activities. He added that the state government has made unprecedented increases in the diet money for athletes. It has been decided to provide Rs. 250 per day to elementary level athletes for participating in sports events held within the state, Rs. 400 per day to all other athletes, and Rs. 500 per day for participating in sports events held outside the state.
On this occasion, Sanjay Awasthi honoured the players who won the sports competitions and also encouraged them for better performance in the future.
The MLA announced a kabaddi mat for the Shiva Club of Dhundhan. He also announced two lights for Dhundhan and a donation of one lakh rupees for road construction in the area.
Sanjay Awasthi also announced to give Rs 21 thousand to Shiva Club Dhundhan.
