Governor reviews implementation of various schemes in Bilaspur
1 min readBilaspur, May 31 – While presiding over the review meeting of various state and center-sponsored schemes being implemented in Bilaspur district held today at Bachat Bhavan Bilaspur, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla directed the officers to get regular feedback from the public to ascertain the exact status of the developmental works.
He said that the Prime Minister has termed the next 25 years as Amrit Kaal. “During Amrit Kaal, we have to contribute in one way or the other in the development of the society, the state and the country”, he said and added that the sincere effort, dedication and conscientiousness of the administration were helpful in expediting development.
Shukla said that he was quite impressed with the cleanliness system on his maiden visit to Bilaspur. He said that the officers should provide benefits of the various schemes to the people. Many schemes like Standup India Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, Integrated Horticulture Mission etc., were successfully implemented in the district.
He asked the administration to contribute to making Himachal a tuberculosis Free State and inspire the maximum number of people to become Nikshay Mitra. He also emphasized adopting natural farming. He also stressed the officers to make collective efforts to make Himachal drug-free.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur, Abid Hussain Sadiq welcomed the Governor and informed them about various schemes being implemented in the district.
