Governor interacts with students of Excellence School Chhota Shimla
1 min readShimla, Oct 21 – Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar here today visited Government Excellence Senior Secondary School, Chhota Shimla and extended Diwali greetings to the students of the Tenth class and also presented their books. He interacted with the students and discussed various topics and asked about their preparations for final examinations besides self-study.
He asked the students to develop the habit of reading books on different subjects along with syllabus books as with reading, they would grow as responsible and educated citizens. He said that books were our true friends, guides, and philosophers, which not only give us a positive attitude but also pave the way for success in life.
The Governor was welcomed by Principal Meera Sharma during the reception organized by the school. She briefed him about the achievements of the school.
The Governor also appealed to the teachers to motivate students in developing the hobby of reading. He called for further development of the school library to facilitate the students. He said that he would soon inspect the ‘Smart Class Room’ developed in the school.
