Governor had personally visited the institute just last Wednesday and had been appraised about the myriad challenges it faces.
The Governor said that he had observed a shortage of staff for the Special Children in the institute and that situation has been going on for a long time. He said that the Dhalli Institute stands as the sole bastion of hope for children with special abilities in the State. He said that this Institute needs a more compassionate approach so as to cater to the needs of special children residing here. He firmly believes that the State government can effectively redress the issues of this institution.
