Government to head towards villages to redress their problems: CM

In the first of its kind initiative, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, is going to deliver the benefit of ‘Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Sammaan Nidhi Yojna’ to the women folk of remote Dodra-Kwar during his visit on 26th Oct.
Besides this the Chief Minister will stay overnight in Dodra and listen to the grievances of the people till late night.
Chief Minister said that the Government aims to go to the far-off and the remote villages to redress the grievances of the people at their door-steps and similar directions have been issued to the Ministers as well so that the people of rural belts of the State need not to visit the distantly located district head quarters to get their petite grievances resolved.
The Chief Minister stated that under the ‘Vyavastha Parivartan’ initiative and to make the State self-reliant, the Government has decided to head towards the villages so that they can be brought into the main streamline by carrying out development works.
He said that the people here were innocent and hardworking, facing the day to day difficulties in a bold manner and the Government of the day was committed to go to and interact with them to better understand their difficulties.
The Chief Minister will reach Dora-Kwar and also address the gathering on the occasion besides meeting them individually and directing the officers to redress their grievances there and then.
The people of the region are quite happy with the decision of the State Government says SDM Dodra-Kwar, Dharmesh who is looking after all the arrangements to give a grand welcome to the Chief Minister along with the natives of this remotest belt of Himachal Pradesh.
