Government Committed to Connecting Every Individual with Development Stream : Sanjay Awasthi

Solan, Mar 16: Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi emphasized that the state government is dedicated to ensuring the benefits of development reach every individual. He was addressing the public during the ‘Vidhayak Aapke Dwar’ program held in Gram Panchayat Basantpur’s Kahdog village.
Awasthi inaugurated a newly constructed community hall worth ₹2 lakh and performed the foundation stone ceremony for a Shiva temple. He highlighted initiatives like the ₹680 crore Startup Scheme for youth and the Rajiv Gandhi Natural Farming Startup Scheme for farmers’ income enhancement.
He announced several development projects, including:
- ₹2 lakh for an ambulance road in Kahdog village
- ₹3 lakh for the roof construction of the community hall
- ₹1 lakh for the repair of the road from Kahdog to Devdhar Temple
- ₹42 lakh for the drinking water scheme from Baridhar to Basantpur Kahlaug
Additionally, he provided ₹11,000 each to the youth and women’s organizations of Kahdog, Harthu, Basantpur, and Purayana villages.
The MLA also administered an anti-drug pledge to the villagers and directed officials to resolve public issues on the spot.
