Free Training at RSETI Hamirpur to Start Your Own Business

Hamirpur, August 29, 2025: Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Mattansidh, Hamirpur, is offering free skill development courses to help individuals start their own businesses instead of depending on jobs. Any Himachal resident between the age of 18 and 50, with basic literacy, can apply for the training programs.

Deputy Commissioner and RSETI Chairman Amarjeet Singh informed that the institute conducts short-term courses ranging from one week to a month. Training is offered in various fields such as beauty parlour, tailoring, bank sakhi, mushroom cultivation, floriculture, fast food, pickles, costume jewelry, toy making, candle making, bamboo products, jute and paper bag production, among others. Courses are designed as per market demand, and participants are provided free accommodation and meals during training.

RSETI also assists trainees in availing bank loans at affordable rates to set up their enterprises. The application process is simple—interested individuals can apply on plain paper by mentioning their name, address, age, and chosen course.
