Focus on Practical Education: ADC Abhishek Garg Inspects Digitized Learning Program in Govt Schools

Hamirpur, May 22 – ADC Abhishek Garg inspected the implementation of the digitized learning program ‘Sampark’ at Shaheed Captain Mridul Sharma Memorial GSSS (Boys), initiated under the Samagra Shiksha scheme. He emphasized that the audio-visual approach used in the app can significantly enhance learning outcomes for students from classes 6 to 8 in government schools.

He advised teachers to go beyond textbook teaching and focus on practical education so that students can deeply understand subjects and apply them in real-life situations. Noting that the app currently focuses only on science, Garg instructed Sampark Foundation officials to include other subjects and introduce English-medium content within two months.

The ADC also directed monthly academic reports and regular updates to the app based on student needs. He interacted with students and assessed the teaching sessions through the app during classroom visits.
