Rana questioned the timing and purpose of the visit, claiming it was funded through the Shimla Smart City Project, even as roads remain blocked and infrastructure suffers over ₹500 crore in damages. Sources say the 10-day trip may cost over ₹70 lakh, raising eyebrows over priorities amid public suffering.
