Five Policemen Suspended in Solan After SP’s Late-Night Surprise Inspection

Gaurav Singh has taken strict action against negligence in the police department in Solan by suspending five policemen with immediate effect. Departmental proceedings have also been initiated against four Home Guard personnel found careless on duty.

The action followed a surprise inspection conducted by the SP around 2 AM across police stations and outposts in Parwanoo, Dharampur, and Solan Sadar areas. During the visit, night patrolling was found unsatisfactory at several locations, and lapses in duty by staff were observed.

The strict move has sent a strong message within the department that negligence in maintaining law and order will not be tolerated.
