Shimla, December 18: Himachal Police have filed an FIR against Dharamshala BJP MLA Sudhir Sharma, Punjab Kesari, The Tribune, and three journalists for allegedly spreading false claims about the Hatti community during CM Sukhu’s visit to Tikkar village, Chopal. The fabricated reports falsely suggested illegal wildlife dishes were served, tarnishing the community’s cultural image. The FIR, lodged under Sections 353(2) and 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, follows complaints from locals demanding strict action.
