Field Staff and Volunteers Trained in Disaster Management at Hamirpur

Hamirpur, September 4 – To ensure a well-coordinated and effective response during disasters, the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has launched the second phase of its training programme aimed at building task forces at the panchayat level.

The three-day training programme began on Thursday at the Block Development Officer’s office hall. Participants include panchayat representatives, panchayat secretaries, employment assistants, Anganwadi and ASHA workers, members of women’s and youth groups, office bearers of social organizations, and field staff from various departments.

The training is designed to equip them with essential disaster management skills for effective response and mitigation at the grassroots level.
