Fatal Truck Accident in Dharampur Chowk, Kills One

On Saturday evening around 6:00 PM, a tragic accident occurred at Dharampur Chowk on NH-5 between Kalka and Shimla, resulting in the death of one person. The accident happened when the driver of a truck lost control, causing the truck to suddenly veer off the road and collide with a pedestrian. Two other individuals were also injured in the incident. Local residents promptly informed the police about the accident, and the police have initiated an investigation.

According to preliminary investigations, it was revealed that the truck was traveling from Kalka towards Solan. As it reached Dharampur Chowk, it lost control and swerved onto the road, colliding with three pedestrians. One of them tragically lost their life, while the other two sustained injuries.

The identity of the deceased victim has not been confirmed yet, and the police are continuing their investigation. Superintendent of Police (Solan) Gaurav Singh has confirmed that a case has been registered against the truck driver, and further investigations are underway.
