Farmers in Solan Urged to Register for Digital Crop Survey

Solan, December 18, 2025:

Deputy Director of Agriculture, Solan, Dr. Dev Raj Kashyap, has urged farmers in the district to ensure their registration under the Digital Crop Survey. He said the initiative is essential for enabling farmers to access crop insurance, compensation, smart farming, accurate production estimates, improved data management, and better beneficiary services.

Surveyors will collect field-level details such as crop type and irrigation methods. Dr. Kashyap appealed to farmers to provide accurate information to help ensure fair pricing, timely benefits, and transparency.

Farmers may visit the Agriculture Department website (agriculture.hp.gov.in) for updates and are advised to remain in contact with their area patwari for assistance.
