Farewell Party Organized for LR Institute of Legal Studies, Solan Batch of 2019-24

Solan, May 24, 2024 – The students of LR Institute of Legal Studies, Solan, organized a farewell party for the outgoing batch of 2019-24. The event commenced with a Saraswati Vandana, setting a pious tone for the celebrations. Students showcased their talents through various activities including singing, dancing, personality development exercises, games, and a one-act play. The performances were exceptional and highlighted the diverse talents of the students.
The event featured a catwalk, talent show, and a Q&A session as the main highlights for selecting Mr. and Miss Farewell, and Mr. and Miss Personality. Based on these activities, Mr. Mohit Thakur and Miss Surekha were crowned Mr. and Miss Farewell, while Mr. Manjot and Miss Sanshima were awarded the titles of Mr. and Miss Personality.
The department praised the students for their sincere efforts and urged them to become multifaceted professionals in the legal field, embodying various leadership qualities.
In the closing speech, the principal and staff highlighted new learning points to be adopted in practice to boost the students’ confidence. They emphasized adhering to the principles of discipline, dedication, and honesty in the legal profession.
Additionally, the principal advised that the role of a lawyer is to present their opinions with utmost integrity, ensuring that their arguments are well-founded on records.
The students expressed their appreciation for the working environment of the law department and the excellent teaching qualities provided, which helped them reach this final stage as law students.
