Panchayati Raj Minister participated in the closing ceremony of the historic Jandayik Chhibbar Bishu Fair
The three-day historical Jandayik Chhibbar Bishu fair was concluded on Monday in Gadevag. On this occasion, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh attended as the chief guest. The fair organizing committee honored the chief guest by giving him a shawl and cap.
On this occasion, the chief guest while addressing the public said that fairs are an integral part of our culture. Today, in this era of modernity, many means of entertainment are available. Internet has provided a lot of information to people at one place. But in today’s environment, many customs in our culture that are getting extinct have a unique identity. It is our duty to make the new generation aware of these customs.
The government is providing every possible help for development work in Bani Panchayat
He said that the state government is providing all possible help for development works in Gram Panchayat Bani. In the last two years, 50 lakh 70 thousand rupees have been spent on the development works of this Panchayat. FRA has been done for all the four roads from Fagu to Bagna, Bani to Padola and NH-5 to Riog Teer and Tharmati to Thana Jubbar. Apart from this, FRA of Tharmati to Batlad and Bani to Tharmati road is still pending. A tender of Rs 20 lakh has been placed for road construction from Bani to Padola. Road construction work from Fagu to Dharech has been approved in NABARD. Apart from this, 10 lakh has been released for Bani Panchayat Ghar. Along with this, work is being done to supply water to Fagu through Kurpan Khad by next year.
After the selection of the land, Rs. 5 lakh will be provided for the Mahila Mandal Bhawan
The Panchayati Raj Minister said that after the selection of land for the Mahila Mandal Bhawan, Rs. 5 lakh will be provided. He announced financial assistance of Rs. 50 thousand to the Mela Committee.
