Fairs and Festivals Reflect Our Rich Culture: MLA Sanjay Awasthi

Solan, Sept 21: Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that fairs and festivals mirror India’s diverse culture, helping preserve and promote traditions. He was addressing the cultural evening of the 21st Himachal Utsav organized by Dynamic India Youth Club at Thodo Ground, Solan. Inaugurating the event, Awasthi highlighted that such celebrations not only provide a platform for local talent but also boost commercial activities. He expressed hope that the festival will achieve greater heights in the future. Remembering the recent natural calamities in Himachal, he conveyed condolences to affected families and praised CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership in rehabilitation and infrastructure rebuilding. The evening featured performances by “Nati King” Kuldeep Sharma and other artists. Several dignitaries, including Infrastructure Advisor to CM Anil Kapil, Commission Member Vijay Pal Singh, and other officials, were present.
