Faculty programme on ‘Redefining Teaching’ from Monday
1 min readSolan, July 16 – The Learning and Development Center at Shoolini University is organising a 5- day faculty programme on the theme “Redefining Teaching: Challenges and Future Readiness” which will start from Monday.
The programme will include hands-on workshops, panel discussions and expert speaker sessions by many eminent educationists from India and abroad. The programme will provide an opportunity for the teachers to understand what teaching will look like in the future, what they can learn from the past and present to be more effective in their teaching. It shall also discuss what role will technology play, how they can make effective presentations and why the hybrid or the blended format will be the mainstay of teaching going forward.
Some of the eminent speakers who will participate include Dr. Florence Martin of UNC, Charlotte, USA, Dr. Petra Turkama of Abu Dhabi University, Dr. Naveen Das from Adamas University, Professor Karam Pal Narwal from GJU, and Prof Anand Sharma of Central University Haryana. Besides these the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of Shoolini and some senior faculty will also be part of various sessions.
A final year student of Zoology at Shoolini University, Bhanu Pratap Solanki, who is also a professional designer, will also, be conducting a workshop on digital storytelling as well as tools to make engaging presentations.
