Faculty Development Program Begins at Bahra University Shimla Hills

Shimla, July 19, 2024 – Bahra University Shimla Hills has initiated a week-long Faculty Development Program focused on the theme of evolving educational paradigms in the modern era. The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Satveer Singh Sehgal, Director General Professor R.M. Bhagat, Registrar Vineet Kumar, Dean Academics Professor Avdesh Kumar Gupta, and Director Research Professor Sandeep Singh.
In his opening remarks, Professor R.M. Bhagat emphasized the importance of understanding cultural heritage and environmental conservation alongside academic knowledge. Registrar Vineet Kumar highlighted the intellectual and spiritual richness of the country. Dean Academics Professor Avdesh Kumar Gupta spoke about the significance of language and nature in development. Director Research Professor Sandeep Singh discussed the university’s achievements in higher education and encouraged the faculty to impart acquired knowledge to students.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra extended his best wishes for the successful organization of the program.
