“Enkindle Club at JUIT Sparks Ingenuity with Robotic Arm Technology Workshop”

The Enkindle Club at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) recently hosted an insightful workshop titled “Innovation in Motion: Robotic Arm Technology,” tailored specifically for first-year students. Organized by the CSE/IT department, the event witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities, including Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Dean of Academics and Research Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Gupta, Prof. & Associate Dean Dr. Shruti Jain, Head of Dept of CSE/IT Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar Sehgal, along with faculty coordinators Dr. Aman Sha. Dr. Hooda and Dr. Sharma, the Enkindle Club & workshop coordinators, outlined the club’s vision, shedding light on future endeavors such as hackathons and seminars, aiming to foster a culture of innovation and hands-on learning.
Keynote speaker Dr. Harpreet Singh, a distinguished Post-Doctoral Research Scientist from Tel Aviv University, Israel, illuminated the diverse applications of robotic arm technology. Dr. Aman Sharma delineated the workshop’s agenda, setting the stage for the ensuing two days (March 19th and 20th). The highlight of the event was Assistant Professor Mr. Munish Sood’s demonstration of the Mitsubishi Robotic Arm, underscoring the pivotal role of hardware in shaping the future. This interactive session not only acquainted students with cutting-edge technology but also enriched their comprehension of its practical implications, aligning with JUIT’s mission to nurture innovation and empower students for success in the dynamic tech landscape.
