Employee Organizations Condemn Assault on Government Staff Member in Una

Una, November 3: Employee unions in Una district have strongly condemned the assault on a senior assistant at the Public Works Department (PWD) office in Bangana.

Leaders of the Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation, including District President Rajneesh Sharma, General Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Senior Vice President Tara Singh, former President Ramesh Thakur, and Urban Unit Representatives Mukesh Dhiman and Surender Kaundal, along with leaders from Haroli, Gagret, Bangana, and Amb blocks, have demanded strict and immediate action against the accused.

The employee leaders stated that an attack on a government employee while on duty is an attack on the democratic system itself, and such incidents cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

They also urged the district administration to ensure adequate safety and protection for all government personnel and to take effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
