Dehra: BJP candidate Hoshiyar Singh, while campaigning, remarked that finally, his sister and Chief Minister have remembered Dehra for their personal gains. He questioned the Chief Minister on what responsibilities he fulfilled for his in-laws’ sake, forcibly imposing relations on the people of Dehra.
Singh pointed out, “I want to ask my sister when Chief Minister Sukhu became the son-in-law of Nalwa. It’s been at least 30 years, but he has hardly visited this region.” According to information available, Chief Minister Sukhu has only visited his real in-laws’ place in Nalwa twice.
Candidate Hoshiyar Singh took a dig at Kamlesh and Chief Minister Sukhu, stating that despite being the brother-in-law of MLA Vikram Thakur from Jaswan Paragpur, they nullified all offices acquired during the Jairam government instead of benefiting these two constituencies.
He remarked, “Today, the daughter (Attention) is demanding her rights; ask her when she fulfilled the duty of being the daughter of this region or her real in-laws.” Singh accused Chief Minister Sukhu of searching for a secure political ground for himself today, even if he has to go to any extent to establish his family.
He questioned, “What has Chief Minister Sukhu done for his region Nadaun that he would do for Dehra today?” The people of every region in the state, along with the people of Nadaun, have also expressed their anger in this general election. The people of Dehra are very wise and will never support those who have harmed their interests.
He urged the people of Dehra not to believe in any false promises; these are only governments of friends and relatives. They are trying to fool the people of Dehra to fulfill their ambitions. However, the people of Dehra can easily recognize these untrustworthy opportunists.
The entire state of Himachal Pradesh knows where not a single youth has been provided employment, while the daughter of the Deputy Chief Minister has been placed in a big job. Instead of giving tickets to ordinary people from Dehra, tickets were given to the wife of the Chief Minister. Singh questioned what the Chief Minister has done for the common people.
