Education is the Greatest Wealth: Sanjay Awasthi at Arki College Annual Function

Arki, July 28: Emphasizing that education is the highest form of wealth, Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi stated that the Himachal Pradesh Government is committed to providing quality education to every youth in the state. He was addressing the annual prize distribution function at Government Model College, Arki.

He encouraged students to learn from failure and keep working hard, underlining that competence and knowledge of modern technology are more important than just securing marks in today’s competitive world. Awasthi also stressed the need for youth to consider politics as a career and stay away from social evils like drug abuse.

He highlighted various government initiatives like English-medium instruction from Class I and the establishment of Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding Schools in every constituency. He announced ₹21,000 from his discretionary fund for the college and felicitated meritorious students.

Earlier, College Principal Sunita Sharma welcomed the chief guest and presented the annual report. Cultural performances by students and grievance redressal sessions also marked the event.
