Eco-Tourism Wing Donates ₹50 Lakh to CM Relief Fund

Shimla, July 29, 2025:
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was presented a cheque of ₹50 lakh towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund by Additional Chief Secretary (Forests) K.K. Pant on behalf of the Eco-Tourism Wing of the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department.

The contribution underscores the department’s commitment to supporting the state in times of natural calamities and public distress. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Sameer Rastogi and Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Sanjay Sood were also present during the occasion.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the generous gesture and acknowledged the Forest Department’s proactive role in environmental conservation and disaster support.
