Shimla, Feb 06 – On 4th of February 2023, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Jaypee University of Information Technology Waknaghat (JUIT-W) has organized student’s industrial visit to BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED: HP TELECOM CIRCLE (BSNL) Solan, Himachal Pradesh. There were 26 students from semester IV and VI along with 3 faculty members and 1 technical staff participated in this visit.
This industrial visit has been organized under the MoU between the two organizations which was coordinated by Dr. Nafis Uddin Khan, Dr. Shweta Pandit and Dr. Alok Kumar under the guidance of Head of the Department – ECE Prof. Rajiv Kumar. The main objective of this visit is to strengthen the technical knowledge and industrial experience of the students in mobile and telecommunication engineering field. In this visit, the students from our Department have undergone through real time working and environment of BSNL and interacted with the technical staff and BSNL professionals. I am sure this visit would surely help the students for internship and job career opportunities.
