Drug Trafficker Escapes Haryana Police Custody in Shimla’s Matiana

A drug trafficker, identified as Pawan alias Mistri, managed to escape from the custody of Haryana Police in Matiana, Theog subdivision, Shimla district. The incident occurred on Sunday evening between 5:30 and 6:00 PM.

Sub-Inspector Subhash Chand from Chandni Bagh Police Station, Panipat, lodged a complaint at Theog Police Station. According to the complaint, Pawan, accused in an NDPS Act case registered on January 1 in Panipat, escaped from the custody of the ANC/AVT cell personnel.

Theog Police have registered a case and initiated further action to apprehend the absconding accused.
