Dr. Rajeev Bindal Criticizes Congress Government for Broken Promises, Questions Financial Management
1 min readShimla, September 6: Himachal Pradesh BJP President, Dr. Rajeev Bindal, has sharply criticized the Congress-led state government for its failure to deliver on key promises made during the 2022 elections. Speaking to the media, Dr. Bindal pointed out that the Congress party had made lofty assurances, including providing ₹1,500 monthly to 28 lakh women, free electricity of 300 units, and 1 lakh jobs in the first cabinet meeting.
Dr. Bindal stated that the same Congress leaders are now changing their tone and blaming the state’s poor financial condition, conveniently ignoring the grand promises they made to secure votes. He also expressed concern about the state’s stalled development, alleging that essential institutions like PHCs, schools, and offices have been closed under the current regime.
He further questioned whether Congress will resort to making new guarantees ahead of the upcoming elections, following the footsteps of the AAP’s strategy.
