District-Level Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament in May 2025

Shimla, Jan 10 : Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap announced a district-level inter-school table tennis tournament in May 2025 to promote sports and combat drug abuse among youth. The initiative will involve students from all district schools, with 2025 dedicated to promoting table tennis. The administration aims to identify and train rural talent for state and national-level recognition. Efforts to improve sports infrastructure and allocate vacant land for sports councils are underway.
