Spread of HIV among drug addicted youth is a matter of concern: Deputy Commissioner
Anupam Kashyap said that symptoms of HIV are being seen in drug addicted youth. Youth who take drugs using syringes are getting infected with HIV. It is a matter of concern for us that HIV is spreading through syringes. He appealed to the general public to get HIV test done from time to time. Apart from this, drug addicted youth should also be cautious about the spread of HIV. Parents of children should keep a close watch that their children do not have syringes etc. If HIV is detected at the right time and abstinence and medicine are taken as per the advice of doctors, then a person can live a healthy life.
