Digital News Portal Delegation Meets CM’s Media Advisor in Shimla

Shimla, May 20, 2025 — A delegation from the Himachal Pradesh Digital News Web Portal Association met with Chief Minister’s Principal Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan to raise key concerns faced by editors of digital portals affiliated with the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), Himachal Pradesh.

The delegation submitted a memorandum requesting accreditation and regular advertisement support for digital news editors. Naresh Chauhan assured the delegation of all possible support from the government and promised to discuss the matter with the Chief Minister.

A copy of the memorandum was also presented to the Director of DIPR, who assured prompt action on the issues raised.

Editors present included Parineeta Sharma, Deepika Sharma, Jagmohan Sharma, Kailash Verma, and Vivek Sood.
