·Service camps to be held in tribal villages
Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that to ensure welfare of the tribal community the Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Development Campaign will be launched from 15th to 30th June in tribal dominated villages. About 1,17,040 tribal people from 270 villages in 10 districts will benefit from various government schemes. The core objective of the campaign is to reach eligible tribal-dominated beneficiaries and ensure their inclusion in over 35 central and state-sponsored public welfare schemes through block level village camps.
A special campaign will be launched in selected, where service camps will be held to provide services like Aadhaar update and registration, ration cards, Ayushman cards, caste certificates, and other necessary public services, he said.
He said that many ministries have been included under this campaign such as Rural Development, Power, Renewable Energy, Health and Family Welfare, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Women and Child Development, Education, AYUSH, Telecommunications, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Electronics and IT, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Panchayati Raj, Tourism, and Tribal Affairs.
He informed that a provisional budget allocation has been proposed for five years for the schemes identified by these ministries. Based on detailed analysis, departments will prepare action plans and send them to the respective central ministries for approval and budget release.
He directed all concerned departments, Deputy Commissioners, Block Development Officers, and staff to ensure the campaign is implemented efficiently so that tribal communities can get timely information and benefit from government schemes.
