Dhaneta Hospital Upgraded to CHC, Two More Doctors Appointed

Hamirpur, Sept 15 – In a significant step towards strengthening rural healthcare, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has approved the appointment of two additional doctors at Dhaneta Hospital, which was recently upgraded from a Primary Health Centre (PHC) to a Community Health Centre (CHC).

With these appointments, the hospital now has a team of four doctors, including Medical Officers and a Dental Surgeon, ensuring better medical services at the doorstep of the local community.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Chaudhary confirmed the new appointments and said that as per the CM’s directions, all essential facilities are being provisioned at CHC Dhaneta.

Local panchayat representatives and residents expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that the move reflects the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare closer to people’s homes.
