The State government is committed towards the welfare of the people besides ensuring time-bound implementation of various progressive policies and programmes of the government, stated Deputy Chief Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri while addressing a gathering after he laid the foundation stone of the rest house of the Jal Shakti Vibhag (JSV) to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 6.21 crore at Haroli in Una, today.
He said the government was keenly working on people-centric policies and programmes which would be thoroughly implemented together with ensuring quality and transparency.
Sh. Agnihotri assured that in coming times, Haroli would be converted into a model constituency and it would be made certain that irrigational facilities reaches to all, adding that every field will be provided irrigational facility. He also directed the officers to be in touch with the people and keep on interacting with them, so that they could approach the officers without any hesitation and learn and benefit from the schemes.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Haroli College would soon be ready to be dedicated to the people and assured to provide a sum of Rs. 100 crore to create basic amenities at Chintpurni Shrine.
Later, he also participated in the district level Piplu fair in Kutlehar assembly constituency after paying obeisance at the Narsingh Temple. The Deputy Chief Minister also honoured the family members of the martyrs on the occasion.
MLA Kutlehar, Devendar Bhutto, welcomed Agnihotri to his assembly segment and briefed him about the various demands of the area. MLA, Chintpurni, Sudershan Bablu also spoke on the occasion and congratulated the people for the Piplu fair.
