Departmental Exhibitions Draw Major Attention at International Lavi Fair in Rampur

Rampur Bushahr, November 14: The departmental exhibitions at the International Lavi Fair 2025 emerged as a major attraction, showcasing government schemes, welfare initiatives, and technical innovations. Various departments—including Information & Public Relations, Horticulture, Agriculture, Forest, Jal Shakti, Power, Health, Transport, SJVN, and Animal Husbandry—displayed services aimed at benefiting the public.

The Information & Public Relations Department highlighted the government’s “system change” initiatives and the successful implementation of six out of ten guarantees in the last one-and-a-half years. The Animal Husbandry Department drew special attention with live displays of Rambouillet sheep and Kadaknath poultry, alongside livestock-related technical guidance.

Horticulture stalls showcased high-density plantation, mechanization, micro-irrigation, and certified nursery practices. The Agriculture Department focused on natural farming, crop diversification, PM-Kisan, and soil health cards. Jal Shakti presented Jal Jeevan Mission, water conservation, and solar pumping systems, while other departments shared information on health services, transport safety, and energy conservation.

Winners of various competitions were announced during the event. In departmental exhibitions, Horticulture Department secured first place, Agriculture second, and Jal Shakti third. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu awarded cash prizes and mementos to winners of handicraft, handloom, and traditional art competitions during the closing ceremony.
