Deadline for e-Shram Module Applications Extended to March 31, 2025

The Ministry of Labour and Employment has extended the deadline for applying under the e-Shram module to March 31, 2025. Applicants who register by the deadline will be eligible for compensation from the central government in case of death or disability due to an accident. The compensation will include Rs 2 lakh for death and Rs 1 lakh for disability. To receive the compensation, eligible applicants must submit their application to the Labour Officer in Solan or Baddi along with necessary documents, including FIR, death certificate, Aadhaar card copy, bank passbook, legal heir certificate, and family register copy.
