Shimla, 30 June 2025: In the wake of the recent tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Shimla conducted a full-scale mock airplane crash exercise at Jubberhatti Airport today. The drill was designed to assess the response time, coordination among emergency services, and overall preparedness of the district administration in managing aviation-related disasters. Key agencies, including airport authorities, medical teams, fire services, and police, participated in the simulation to ensure a swift and synchronized response in case of real-life emergencies.
