DC Anupam Kashyap Inspects Landslide Site Near Shimla Gurudwara

Shimla, July 13, 2024 – Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap inspected the landslide-affected area near the under-construction parking at Circular Road close to Shimla Gurudwara on Saturday. Heavy rains had caused the landslide, prompting the DC to review the situation and gather a detailed report from the Public Works Department staff present at the site.
DC Kashyap directed the immediate completion of the retaining wall construction, given the forecast of more heavy rains in the coming days. He noted that while traffic is being managed smoothly, peak hours are seeing significant difficulties. The swift completion of the work is expected to alleviate these issues during peak times.
He also encouraged the laborers, acknowledging their hard work and the crucial support they are providing to the administration. Kashyap urged them to continue their efforts with the same intensity.
