DC and SP Conduct Surprise Inspection

Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap and Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi conducted a surprise inspection late Thursday evening to review the ongoing repair work for road restoration in Baluganj and Chakkar.

DC Anupam Kashyap informed that the repair work on the road damaged by the landslide in Baluganj is progressing rapidly. He assured that the work would be completed in the coming days, after which traffic will resume smoothly. He also inspected the rain shelter affected by the landslide and commended the Public Works Department team for their excellent and swift work, providing them with further instructions as needed.

In Chakkar, the work to clear the road blocked by a landslide is also moving ahead quickly. The residents of a house impacted by the landslide have been relocated to a safer location. The Deputy Commissioner met with the relocated residents and encouraged them to reach out to the administration for any assistance they might need.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Urban) Bhanu Gupta, senior officials from the Public Works Department, and local residents were also present during the inspection.
