Dates Announced for Driving Tests under Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Yojana

Dharamshala, January 31: Regional Transport Officer Dharamshala, Pradeep Kumar, has revealed the schedule for driving tests under the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Startup Yojana.’ Applications for e-taxi self-driving were accepted online at the Regional Transport Office Kangra, Dharamshala, from November 20, 2023, to January 5, 2024.

After scrutinizing all received applications, the eligible candidates have been selected for the ‘Driver and Skill Examination.’ The practical tests for applicants will take place on February 8, 9, and 12, 2024, at Jorawar Stadium, Sidhbari, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Applicants are urged to bring all necessary documents, including educational certificates and driving licenses, during the test. For further information, interested individuals can contact the Regional Transport Office Kangra at 01892-222055 between 10 AM and 5 PM on any working day. This initiative aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs through the Swarozgar Yojana, fostering self-employment opportunities in the region.
