Crypto Scam Sweeps Through Himachal Pradesh, Millions Duped

Citizens from all walks of life, including high-ranking officials, have been targeted by cunning perpetrators. The police are receiving continuous complaints of scams, and so far, they have arrested nine individuals in connection with this case. Cabinet Minister Jagat Singh Negi emphasized that the government has no schemes that promise triple returns on investments. He urged people to invest their hard-earned money wisely.
Negi revealed that people have been lured by the promise of tripling their money in the name of crypto currency. As a result, people from various backgrounds, including high-ranking officials, invested in it. However, continuous incidents of fraud have emerged, prompting the establishment of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) by the government. The victims of the fraud, who have been affected by land acquisitions for various projects and forestry in the state, are being targeted. Therefore, people are advised to stay vigilant and not fall for any scams. The police are currently investigating the matter, and they have arrested nine individuals. The total transaction amount involved is estimated to be around 2,300 crores, with pending debts of 400 crores. The police have also seized property worth 5 crores belonging to the accused, and further investigations are ongoing. The government is determined to ensure the victims of the scam recover their money.
