CPI(M) to Hold ‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’ in Delhi on March 24
1 min readShimla, March 7: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has announced a ‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’ at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi, on March 24, 2026, against what it described as the “communal and corporate-friendly policies” of the BJP-led central government. According to the party, thousands of workers, farmers, agricultural labourers, women, youth and students from across the country are expected to participate.
CPI(M) State Secretary Sanjay Chauhan said the party will also organize a statewide Jan Aakrosh Jatha in Himachal Pradesh from March 9 to March 18 to mobilize public support for the rally. The campaign will be led by CPI(M) Central Secretariat member Vikram Singh, State Secretary Sanjay Chauhan, and State Secretariat member Rakesh Singha, along with other party leaders.
During the campaign, public meetings and street plays will be organized across various towns to highlight issues such as rising unemployment, inflation, labour reforms, farmers’ concerns and electricity sector changes. The jatha will cover several locations including Nahan, Rohru, Rampur, Ani, Patlikuhal, Jogindernagar, Sundernagar, Dharamshala, Chamba and Shimla.
The party has appealed to people to join the campaign and participate in the March 24 rally to raise their voice against policies affecting workers, farmers and common citizens.
