CPI-M, BSP candidates among 6 file nominations in Shimla
1 min readShimla, Oct 20 – Including CPI(M) candidate Dr Kuldeep Singh Tanwar from Kasumpti, Vishal Sangta from Jubbal Kotkhai and BSP’s Bhagat Lal from Chopal, total of six candidates filed nominations from eight assembly constituencies on Thursday.
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi said Kuldeep Singh Tanwar (65 years) of CPI(M) son of Kanwar Madan Singh, resident of 105/12 S Bhawan Sangti West, Sanjauli Shimla has filed a nomination on behalf of CPM from Kusumpti. Zila Parishad member Vishal Shangta (51 years) son Paras Ram resident of village Bhawana, Post Office Purag Tehsil Kotkhai district Shimla also from CPM filed their nomination papers.
In Shimla district Thursday, six candidates filed their nominations. One from Vis Sector-60 Chaupal, two from Vis Sector-61 Theog, Vis Sector-62 from Kusumpti and two from Vis Sector-65 Jubbal Kotkhai have filed nomination, an independent Ms Suman Kadam (34 years) daughter Kishan Chand Kadam from Jubbal-Kotkhai, resident of village Darbar Tehsil Kotkhai district Shimla filed nomination from Jubbal Kotkhai.
On behalf of Bahujan Samaj Party, Bhagat Lal (41 years) son of Mirju Ram resident of village Durbar, Post Office Ida, Tehsil Nerwa filed nomination papers on behalf of Bahujan Samaj Party as BSP candidate from Theog, Jiya Lal (61 years) son of Sadhu resident of village Bhagwad, Post Office Shadi Matiana, Tehsil Theog along with Amit Mehta (38 years) son Narottam Lal, filed as independent candidates.
