CPA India Regional Conference Concludes in Bengaluru, Pathania Hails Deliberations

Bengaluru, Sept 13: The three-day 11th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Regional Conference concluded in Bengaluru with Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot presiding and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla addressing the closing ceremony. Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that the discussions reaffirmed the enduring importance of debate and dialogue in legislative institutions to meet public aspirations and strengthen democracy.
Pathania, along with Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar, also attended the horse race exhibition at Bangalore Turf Club and praised the Karnataka Assembly for the grand arrangements. He highlighted Bengaluru as a vibrant metropolis, known as the “Garden City of India” and the “Silicon Valley of India,” contributing significantly to research, technology, and culture.
Pathania thanked Karnataka Speaker UT Khader Farid, CM Siddaramaiah, and Dy CM DK Shivakumar for their hospitality and expressed confidence that the conference deliberations would yield far-reaching outcomes to further strengthen India’s parliamentary system.
