Covid positivity rate mounts up to 6.6 pc in HP

Shimla, Apr 7 – Himachal Pradesh Health Minister Dr D R Shandil stated today that state Covid positivity rate mounted 6.6 pet cent as as state have 1933 active nCoV patients and around 5000 testes are being conducted every day.
Health Minister was interacting with Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh L. Mandaviya in Video Conference today.
He said that currently there are 1933 Active Cases in the State and Positivity Rate is 6.6 thus week.
He said that daily COVID-19 Testing is around 5000 and Hospital Admission Rate is 0.9 per cent.
He said that there are sufficient bed, Oxygen
Supply and adequate number of Ventilators available in Healthcare facilities throughout the State which can cater future needs in any exigency .
Himachal Pradesh requested Government of India regarding supply of COVID-19 vaccine to the State so that the precautionary dose shall be administered to the public.
The State Government is regularly monitoring present situation properly and there is no need to panic as the things are under control as well as the sufficient resources available with the State
Government but still public need to remain vigilant and has been advised to follow COVID Appropriate Behavior.
State of Himachal Pradesh would ensure that COVID-19 coordination & review meetings at State & District level shall be conducted on regular basis as per the directions given by MoHFW.
