Covid care app made available on Apple Play Store in State

Shimla, June 15- The spokesperson of the Health department said here today that Himachal Covid Care App, which was launched by the Chief Minister on 22^nd May 2021, is now available for the IOS users through Apple Play Store in the State. He further added that the purpose of this app is to connect asymptomatic or mild symptomatic Covid patients with doctors especially for home isolated patients for ensuring regular monitoring of health status of Covid positive patients and to take quick decisions regarding hospitalization requirements by the Health department.

He said that the app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple Play Store. He said that the Covid patients in home isolation can now download the App and fill up their detail along with desired information in the app and avail the facility. Till now, 984 persons detected Covid positive on home isolation have availed this facility in the State.
