Consumer Awareness Camp on Cyber Safety to Be Held at Scholars Unified School

A Consumer Awareness Camp will be organized at Scholars Unified Sr. Sec. School, Arniala on July 26 at 11 AM, under the aegis of the Himachal Pradesh Consumer Protection Council. The camp is specially focused on telephone users and will raise awareness on cyber crimes and safe smartphone usage.
Council Chairman Jogendra Kanwar informed that representatives of all major telecom companies will be present to address mobile and telephone-related complaints on the spot. The event will also see participation of Council Vice-Chairman Ranjit Singh, who will brief attendees about TRAI regulations and government initiatives for consumer safety.
Attendees will also receive valuable insights on daily consumer vigilance, weights and measures rules, and state-run schemes for consumer welfare.
